Located on the rural Puna Coast of the Big Island's east side, Pamalu B&B offers five acres of quietude and pure tropical beauty. The large, tastefully decorated country house sits at the heart of Pamalu's grounds, providing an atmosphere of peace, privacy, and comfort amid beautifully landscaped surroundings. In the casual paneled living room, guests can relax beneath vaulted ceilings to read, listen to music, or simply enjoy fragrant breezes drifting from the adjoining screened lanai. Each morning, the light-filled dining area in the lanai welcomes guests to linger over a continental breakfast of fresh fruits, breads, and juices and admire the property's graceful palms, giant ferns, and flowering trees. A short distance from the house, a partially secluded clothing optional pool beckons visitors to swim or sun, while the adjacent pavilion serves as the perfect spot for an evening barbecue. Hiking trails, snorkeling, a warm springs lagoon, and a clothing optional black sand beach are nearby.
